Acute PharmD Solutions (APS) is assembling a selective network of highly skilled, clinically sharp PharmD clinicians who thrive in high-acuity environments and value precision, autonomy, and impact.

​

This network is intentionally limited. As APS grows, we will expand our on-call and consultative services by partnering with exceptional pharmacists who demonstrate an advanced clinical acumen, superior communication skills, a commitment to evidence-based pharmacotherapy, and replicable credibility in high-stakes environments.

This is not a traditional employment opportunity.

Who We’re Looking For

​​

Pharmacists in the APS network typically have:

• Comfort providing independent clinical decision support to physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs)

• Strong clinical intuition backed by evidence and experience, not protocols alone

• The professionalism to operate in consultative, independent, on-call environments

​​

We are especially interested in pharmacists with experience in:

• High-Acuity Acute Care Settings 

• Emergency Medicine

• Internal Medicine 

• Critical Care (MICU, SICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, etc.)

• Trauma, Infectious Diseases, Cardiology, Transplant, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Hematology/Oncology

• On-call or Clinical Specialist roles

Ideal candidates have:

• PharmD with PGY1 (PGY2 preferred, but not required)

• Board certification required (BCPS, BCCCP, BCEMP, BCIDP, etc.)

• Interest in flexible, high-impact consulting work

​

APS prioritizes clinical excellence, discretion, and reliability over volume or titles.

What Collaboration with APS Looks Like

​​As APS grows, select consultants may be invited to support:

• On-call pharmacotherapy consultation coverage

• PharmD-to-Provider clinical decision support

• Case-based education and advisory services

• Flexible, contract-based clinical work

​

Compensation and engagement structure reflects expertise, availability, and clinical demand.

​

APS is built for elite clinicians — with a strong emphasis on professionalism, boundaries, and clinical excellence.

The goal is to provide widespread pharmacotherapy services for the Modern Healthcare era while pushing the field of pharmacy forward and advancing the role of clinical pharmacists as clinicians by demonstrating the impact and depth that elite PharmD practitioners bring to the interdisciplinary team. ​
